O Canada!

I have never gone skiing or snowboarding or anything.  The closest I've ever been was going cross country skiing briefly in the 7th or 8th grade during a field trip to Frost Valley.  Winter sports just never crossed my path.

Matt, on the other hand, lives for snowboarding.  So, when friends of ours invited us to join them in their trip up to Sutton for a week of skiing and snowboarding, we of course said yes!

Fun Fact:  I've never been to Canada before, and I was so excited!
We stayed at Le Montagnard, and it was awesome to have a studio with a kitchen to spend our time.  Our friends also stayed in the same place only a few building away.

Conditions were icy since it was warm during the day and then freezing at night, so I decided that I wouldn't be attempting any skiing or snowboarding.  Instead, I actually RELAXED!!!  I spent my time reading, learning my ukulele, cooking, watching tv, etc.  It was fantastic.
I also may have started playing with snapchat for the first time and had way too much fun!
Anywho, it was really beautiful up there.  The town is small, but there are a few restaurants and a grocery store and such, and it's super close to the mountain.
There's not much to say about our trip except that it was exactly what we both needed!
Matt got his fill of snowboarding, and I got to relax!

After a few days, we started our trip back, and spent another few days in Stowe.
We stayed at a B&B, and it was lovely!  The owners were so nice, and the breakfast was really lovely each morning.

Matt went snowboarding one day, but the clouds were insane!
We hit up a few nice restaurants plus, of course, a visit to the Alchemist Brewery.
So much fun!
On our final drive home, we ended up by the ferry early, so we were on the standby line.
Luckily, we were the LAST car to fit on, look how close we were!!!
